Quantum science and technology is a vibrant area of education, research and development at ETH Zurich. To strengthen the community, members of the Quantum Center promote interdisciplinary collaborations and are involved in a variety of structural activities.
The ETH Zurich - PSI Quantum Computing Hub is a joint centre of ETH Zurich and the Paul Scherrer Institute with the aim to advance the realization of quantum computers based on ion traps and superconducting components.
The HPQ Laboratory and Office Building is a new physics building on ETH Zurich’s Hönggerberg campus, housing state-of-the-art research infrastructure that will enable ETH to expand its position in the field of quantum technologies.
The Swiss Quantum Initiative aims to consolidate Switzerland's excellent position in the field of quantum science and technologies.
Members of the Quantum Center are partners in six projects funded through the Quantum Transitional Call scheme.
The aim of the Quantum Center Faculty Fellowships is to bring scientists to ETH Zurich, fostering knowledge exchange and establishing collaborations between the academic guests and groups affiliated with the Quantum Center.
The INSPIRE Potentials - Quantum Center Master Award aims to increase the number of female students in the research areas of the Quantum Center groups, all belonging to fields where women are strongly underrepresented.
