Quantum Entanglement Prize ceremony and colloquium
Join us for a special colloquium where Simon Storz will receive the Quantum Entanglement Prize, followed by a talk on his award-winning research and an apéro.

Simon Storz received the Quantum Entanglement Prize for his leading work on a loophole-free Bell test with superconducting circuits and for his enthusiasm for science communication.
During his PhD in the Quantum Device Lab of Professor Andreas Wallraff, Simon Storz and his colleagues demonstrated a loophole-free Bell test with entangled superconducting circuits. Now a postdoctoral researcher in the Hybrid Quantum Systems group of Professor Yiwen Chu, he investigates connections between quantum theory and general relativity.
Funded by the Max Meyer Foundation through the external page ETH Zurich Foundation and coordinated by the Physics Department, the Quantum Entanglement Prize recognizes doctoral and postdoctoral researchers at ETH Zurich who excel in basic quantum research and have a strong interest in science communication.
