Ladies+ Networking Lunch
A community of women+ scientists regularly meet for an informal networking lunch on campus Hönggerberg. All female+ researchers are welcome to join.
About
The Ladies+ Networking Lunch is an informal lunch followed by a coffee-get-together on Hönggerberg campus. The idea is to meet in a relaxed setting, to build a strong network, to create a platform where information and experiences on how to navigate through a scientific career can be shared, as well as to increase the awareness of gender issues and stereotypes. The event is not limited to students of a certain field of research.
+ All women and non-binary people are welcome to join.
When & Where
The meetings are organized by a team of three PhD students - Lara Ostertag and Marta Perego - and take place once a month. The dates are decided a few days in advance based on a poll, which is sent to the mailing list. Typically, the group meets at the entrance of Coop on the Hönggerberg campus and has lunch at the Physics mensa, where a table is booked, or outside if the weather permits.
